Flaming Lips hit by second tragedy in hours as star's teen daughter goes missing
The 16 year old daughter of The Flaming Lips drummer Steven Drozd has gone missing just hours after the space rock band performed a show in Seattle, Washington
Initially on board as drummer, his musical talent saw him take on multiple roles, including playing the bass and keys, and even offering backup vocals. In an emotional tribute, they shared: "It pains us so much to say that our feisty, talented, unique, beautiful daughter was cruelly taken from us on Saturday night. The Flaming Lips frontman Wayne Coyne delivered a touching homage to their Canadian friend, Nell, during their gig in Poland on Monday.
