Fivio Foreign Pleads Guilty to Making Terroristic Threats in Plea Deal
Fivio Foreign has pleaded guilty to making terroristic threats in a plea deal, his attorney tells Billboard.
New Jersey court records reviewed by Billboard on Wednesday (May 28) showed that the Brooklyn rapper (born Maxie Lee Ryles III) pleaded guilty to one count of third-degree terroristic threats. Fivio’s attorney, Adam Lustberg, explains to Billboard that his client’s guilty plea comes in exchange for the state of New Jersey’s agreement to “drop the four firearms-related charges” tied to the case, which include unlawful possession of a weapon and aggravated assault. The Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office tells Billboard that Fivio Foreign is due for sentencing on Aug. 1, but Lustberg says he believes it could happen much sooner than that if all parties involved are ready to proceed.
