FIRST LOOK at KT Tunstall performing title song from brand-new stage musical Clueless which hits London's West End next year

Clueless is the latest cult 90s movie to be turned into a musical and is coming to London's West End next year.

KT, known for her hit singles Suddenly I see and Black Horse and The Cherry Tree, has previously admitted her new songs have a deliberate 90s vibe, channelling the music which appeared in the teen movie which included tracks by Radiohead, Coolio, Supergrass and the Beastie Boys. Starring Alicia Silverstone as Cher Horowitz, the plot centres around her character – a rich, successful and popular Beverly Hills high school student who turns herself into a Matchmaker. Featuring lyrics by Glenn Slater who wrote songs for the stage adaptations of The Little Mermaid, Sister Act and School of Rock, the production is being directed by Rachel Kavanaugh who said the original film was the best of the era's teen romantic comedies and 'full of heart and warmth where some of the others aren't'.
