First look at Gavin & Stacey Christmas special in 'secret' clip released by BBC

The BBC have released a new clip from the Gavin & Stacey Christmas special as a treat for the show's fans – hidden at the end of the 2019 Christmas special on iPlayer

Viewers who are catching up with the previous Christmas special, broadcast in 2019, are treated to a sneak peek from the new episode at the end, featuring favourite character Nessa (Ruth Jones) showing some tourists the highlights of Barry Island. “We’ve only been on a couple of minutes,” the sweet customer objects, to which Nessa replies: “Love, I am just speaking my truth, I find your abusive tone very triggering. A lot has happened in those five years but the group of friends and family are all reuniting for Christmas, with Bryn (Rob Brydon) getting ready to pack up his Citroen Picasso for the drive from Barry to Billericay in Essex, where Mick (Larry Lamb) and Pam (Alison Steadman) are hosting the festivities.
