First Look at Animation ‘The Last Whale Singer,’ Pre-Sold to Multiple Territories by Global Screen (EXCLUSIVE)
Global Screen prepares to show the first scene from animated feature “The Last Whale Singer” to buyers at a screening at the European Film Market.
Maite Woköck, producer and co-CEO of Telescope Animation alongside Memari, said: “Collaborating with Global Screen has been extraordinary, and we’re confident their expertise will help us bring this powerful story about overcoming fear and protecting our oceans to audiences worldwide in 2026.” Global Screen’s EFM lineup alsos include “Welcome Home Baby” by Andreas Prochaska, which opens the Berlinale’s Panorama section, and “Wedding and Wokes: A Family Dilemma,” directed by Sönke Wortmann, the German box office hit from Constantin, which has sold over one million tickets. Global Screen also has Gaby Dellal’s “Park Avenue,” an indie drama from the U.K., starring Fiona Shaw and Katherine Waterston, “The Book of Everything” by Ineke Houtman, “The Elf” (working title), “The Battle of Oslo” by Daniel Fahre, and Stephen De Villiers’ “The Run.”
