First Look – New Fast & Furious: Hollywood Drift Coaster At Universal Studios Hollywood

Universal Studios Hollywood today offered a glimpse at the creation of the park's forthcoming first outdoor roller coaster, Fast & Furious: Hollywood Drift.

The attraction, announced last year, is set for launch in 2026, but the park’s minions have already made significant progress on the track which will guide the “groundbreaking 360-degree rotation of the individual ride vehicles as they rocket along.” The goal is to create a sensation of drifting cars as guests spin in motion at furiously fast speeds. The closure of Supercharged “will pave the way for an exciting all-new Studio Tour attraction to be announced soon,” according to park officials. Guests will queue up within a large, red brick, garage-style structure before getting into the ride vehicles, modeled after several cars featured in the films before catapulting along an aerial track that winds its way over the theme park.
