Finn Wolfhard Says He Was ‘Happy’ But Also ‘Very Confused and Sad’ By His ‘Stranger Things’ Ending: ‘I Felt Like I Was In A Dream’

Finn Wolfhard said his character's ending 'felt like a dream,' and that he was 'happy' but also 'very confused and sad.'

Having grown up on the set of “ Stranger Things ” across nearly a decade, Finn Wolfhard has conflicted feelings about the series (and his character’s) ending. Wolfhard, who’s played series protagonist Mike Wheeler since November of 2015, confessed to People that there were a lot of emotions to navigate while filming the finale. Wolfhard (who’s now 22) joined the series at just 13 years old and has grown up in front of our eyes each season alongside co-stars Millie Bobby Brown, Noah Schnapp, Gaten Matarazzo, Caleb McLaughlin and Sadie Sink.
