Filmmaker Harley Chamandy Signs With Buchwald

Harley ChamandyParker Hao The Canadian filmmaker made his debut feature, Allen Sunshine, executive produced by Academy Award-winning Anora-producer, Alex Coco, won the Werner Herzog Film prize at the Munich Film Festival in December 2024. Shot on 16mm celluloid, the film follows protagonist Allen, an ex-music producer who moves to the remote woods to isolate and mourn the tragic death of his pop vocalist wife. “The criteria for the award from my foundation are always innovation, courage, and initiative, and Harley Chamandy has demonstrated all of these.
