FBI Is Involved in Miller Gardner's Death Investigation

The FBI has gotten involved in the investigation for the death of Brett Gardner’s son, Miller Gardner

He was 14 years old and has left us far too soon after falling ill along with several other family members while on vacation,” Brett, 41, and his wife, Jessica Gardner, wrote in a statement shared via the New York Yankees’ X account in March. On Monday, March 31, news broke that “high levels of carbon monoxide contamination” were detected in the family’s hotel room as part of testing carried out by a “specialized hazardous atmosphere team” from the Fire Department and forensic engineering performed by OIJ investigators. Dr. Maikel Vargas-Sanabria, a forensic pathologist and professor at the University of Costa Rica who is not associated with the case, has tried to shed light on the possible mix-up of food and carbon monoxide poisoning as potential causes of death.
