Fatman Scoop's family life revealed as role of 'family man' kept rapper's two children and past marriages out of spotlight
Just two days after he passed away after collapsing on stage , the family of Fatman Scoop has released a statement.
The rapper - born Isaac Freeman III - was performing on stage in Hamden, Connecticut on Friday when he collapsed and was administered CPR. Lil Jon wrote in a comment, 'REST WELL BROTHER' while Scoops frequent collaborator Timbaland and Fat Joe both appeared lost for words and posted a string of emojis. Freeman's manager, DJ and producer Birch Michael, announced the rapper's death 'with the heaviest of hearts' in posts to social media on Saturday morning.
