Fans are praying for hip-hop legend Fatman Scoop after he was transported by an ambulance to hospital after suffering a medical emergency on stage in Hamden, Connecticut

Legendary hip-hop star Fatman Scoop was rushed to hospital on Friday night after he collapsed on stage mid-performance at the Town Center Park in Hamden, Connecticut, leaving panicked concert-goers screaming. I just want to say this - Hamden, where y'all at, make some noise for me heavy baby," the performer could be heard saying in the video to shocked fans in the crowd, before they asked what happened to the star. The star appeared on UK TV series Chancers in 2004, broadcast on Channel 4, mentoring six British musicians trying to achieve success in the United States.
