'Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade,' 'Rocky IV' and 'Clueless'Everett The rebranded Fathom Entertainment, which has been gobbling up an increasing share of box office, has set special anniversary presentations of Clueless, Rocky IV, One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest, The Sound of Music, Sunset Boulevard and more for its annual Big Screen Classics series, following a bang with The Goonies in January for that film’s 40 th anniversary. Ray Nutt, CEO of the specialty distributor, speaking at the annual exhibition conference CinemaCon in Las Vegas, said the company’s growth over the past two years is largely — nearly 60% — due to leveraging repertory films, calling them a “bedrock element of our content offerings.” Fathom, whose releases run from The Met Opera Live to The Chosen, is owned equally by the nation’s three largest theater chains (AMC, Regal and Cinemark) has been expanding from solely event cinema to longer runs and original films.
