Father John Misty has announced a 'greatish' hits album, while dropping the new track 'I Guess Time Just Makes Fools of Us All.'
Opening with a wildly entertaining saxophone, the track harkens back to the jazzy delights of 2022’s Chloë and the Next 20th Century. “The great-ish minds of my generation,” Tillman sings, “Gladly conscripted in the war/Of defending any Goliath/That would deign darken the door.” Yep, he’s back! Last year, he appeared on his longtime collaborator Lana Del Rey’s Did You Know That There’s a Tunnel Under Ocean Blvd, on the track “Let the Light In.”
