The Fantastic Pavilion returns to Cannes with the new Fantastic Focus, expanded Round Robin and IP Remake Showcase, celebrating genre cinema.
The Fantastic Pavilion, Cannes’ genre cinema hub, is back for its third edition at this year’s upcoming Marché du Film with an ambitious lineup that reaffirms its role as the ultimate destination for horror, sci-fi and fantasy professionals. Additionally, a strong delegation of prominent Mexican filmmakers and producers, such as Gigi Saul Guerrero, Javier Colinas, Sofia Garza-Barba, and Alex Kahuam, will represent the country throughout the Pavilion’s activities. Reflecting on the Pavilion’s rapid rise, founder and Morbido Group CEO Pablo Guisa Koestinger explained, “What began as a dream in 2023 has now become a thriving hub—a vibrant space where the genre community converges to connect, create, and elevate independent cinema.
