Fantasia Film Festival Reveals First Titles Set For 2024 Edition Including Chris Stuckmann’s Horror Movie ‘Shelby Oaks’
Chris Stuckmann’s 'Shelby Oaks' will world premiere at the festival with a screening presented by Mike Flanagan.
Produced by Aaron B. Koontz, Cameron Burns, and Ashleigh Snead with exec producers including Flanagan and Trevor Macy, the film follows a woman’s desperate search for her long-lost sister, a famous YouTuber who investigated paranormal happenings, who falls into obsession upon realizing that the imaginary demon from their childhood may have been real. The film follows Emily (Madison Iseman) and her fiancé Christian (Aaron Dominguez) who discover an ancient Wiccan artifact, a pendulum board, as they prepare to open a bistro in New Orleans’ French Quarter. de Sève cinemas, with additional screens and events at Montreal’s Cinémathèque québécoise and Cinéma du Musée.
