Fans go wild over Netflix thriller which 'gets better and better' with every episode

The Madness, a new conspiracy thriller starring Colman Domingo, is currently available to stream on Netflix - but what have the critics made of the eight-part series?

it stars Colman Domingo, fresh off an Oscar nod for his role in Rustin, as Muncie Daniels, a forward-thinking CNN media pundit who finds himself embroiled in a murder case after stumbling upon the brutally beaten body of a white supremacist. Their review highlights: "As well as being smartly plotted and expertly paced, The Madness has a subtle but great line in showing how Muncie must navigate the traditional tropes as a Black man (police scepticism, approaching strangers for information, or simply being out and about in certain neighbourhoods). They continued their positive feedback by saying, "The Madness successfully balances competing and evolving interests, as well as twists and turns, without becoming convoluted, although slight adjustments could amplify the story's overall impact."
