Fans Choose TWICE’S ‘I Got You’ as This Week’s Favorite New Music
The K-pop group’s fun new single brought in 84% of the vote.
“I Got You” brought in 84% of the vote, beating out new music by Keith Urban(“Straight Line”), Billy Joel(“Turn the Lights Back On”), Usher featuring Pheelz (“Ruin”), Don Toliver(“Bandit”), and others. The propulsive, dizzyingly song builds upon the success of the nine-member group’s previous English-language singles by highlighting the their melodic strengths and doubling down on the snappiest parts of the synth-pop production, creating a flash point that could cross over to U.S. platforms in a big way. The JYP Entertainment group is in the midst of their Ready To Be world tour, which visits Allianz Parque in Sao Paulo on Feb. 6-7, and then plays Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas on March 16.
