Katy Perry and Doechii's "I’m His, He’s Mine" is triumphant in topping this week’s new music poll that features artists in various genres of music.
Featuring a heavy sample of Crystal Waters’ beloved 1991 house single “Gypsy Woman (She’s Homeless),” the duet finds the women marking their respective territories when it comes to their male love interests. “I’m his queen, I’m his freak/ I’m every woman he wants and needs,” Perry sings in the song’s music video as she cradles the man’s head while they hurtle toward the ground, before the camera cuts to a bikini-wearing Doechii dancing in an elevator while delivering her her own alluring come on. It’s the lead single from the superstar’s upcoming album, Hurry Up Tomorrow, which serves as the third and final installment of his After Hours and Dawn FM trilogy.
