Fans Choose Green Day’s ‘Saviors’ as This Week’s Favorite New Music
The legendary rock trio’s 14th studio album brought in nearly 27% of the vote.
Saviors brought in almost 27% of the vote, beating out new music by Kygo and Ava Max(“Whatever”), Nicki Minaj featuring Future(“Press Play”), Norah Jones(“Running”), Bleachers(“Tiny Moves”), and others. Nearly four years since their last studio LP — 2020’s Father of All… — Green Day returned on Friday with a brand new set featuring a slew of singles, including Billboard ‘s Rock Airplay chart-topper “The American Dream Is Killing Me.” Trailing behind Saviors on the poll is tropical house producer Kygo and pop hitmaker Ava Max’s “Whatever,” which brought in nearly 26% of the vote.
