Fans Choose Cazzu’s ‘Dolce’ as This Week’s Favorite New Music Latin
Cazzu's empowering corrido bélico "Dolce" was picked by fans as their favorite new music Latin release. See the results on Billboard.
An empowering corrido bélico and Cazzu’s first attempt at the música mexicana genre, the song generated over 86% of the vote, beating out other new releases that dropped last week, including J Balvin’s romantic reggaetón track “Rio,” Alejandro Sanz and Grupo Frontera’s “Hoy No Me Siento Bien,” and Aitana’s “Segundo Intento,” to name a few. Produced by Argentine hitmaker Nito Cotton, “Dolce” — the second single off of her upcoming studio album set for April — is about a complex relationship characterized by betrayal, backed by pleasing requintos. The conceptual music video shows Cazzu serenading a man portraying a big, buff devil, while she breaks away from his sinister motives in her own journey to self-love and discovery, all while wearing a killer, red designer dress.
