Fame Academy star David Sneddon unrecognisable 22 years since finding fame on hit BBC show

Singer and songwriter David Sneddon, who found fame on BBC's Fame Academy in the early 2000s, looks unrecognisable two decades after his life-changing reality TV show win

David, now 46, was just 24 years old when he was thrust into the spotlight on Fame Academy, where he competed against the likes of Lemar, Malachi Cush, Ainslie Henderson and Sinead Quinn. David has worked as a songwriter on numerous popular artists' albums, including the likes of Olly Murs, Lana Del Rey and Will Young. I think I’m putting it here to see what it sparks in me and to potentially see if I still get a kick out of it… I’m also obsessed with Brandi Carlisle, Carole King and Elton… and I dont really get to do that type of writing with many folk so it’s also just selfishly for me," he added.
