Faith-Based Studio Wonder Project Names Tristen Tuckfield Chief Commercial Officer (EXCLUSIVE)
Tristen Tuckfield of Village Roadshow Pictures has been named chief commercial officer at the well-financed upstart studio Wonder Project.
Reporting to Wonder Project CEO Kelly Merryman Hoogstraten, Tuckfield will also lead distribution, co-production and co-financing, acquisitions and create alternate revenue streams in categories like merchandise. She began her career as a founding member of 30West, an incubator behind titles like “I, Tonya,” the Netflix juggernaut “Tiger King,” and “Late Night” starring Mindy Kaling and Emma Thompson. Current Wonder Project titles in process include the biblical series “House of David” and the faith-based drama “It’s Not Like That,” set up at Amazon MGM and Prime Video, respectively.
