The world's most in-demand pastry chef has flown to Venice with his model girlfriend to craft a top-secret cake for Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sanchez's star-studded wedding.
Sanchez, 55, fell in love with the 39-year-old’s exquisite creations during her May bachelorette trip to Paris, where A-list friends including Kim Kardashian and Katy Perry joined her for high tea at Le Meurice Hotel. During a fun-filled bachelorette weekend, former journalist Sanchez and her glamorous pals thought Grolet’s ‘cakes and patisseries were absolutely adorable,’ a senior staff member at Le Meurice told DailyMail.com. Later this summer, Grolet – who has filmed social media baking stunts with celebrities including Blake Lively and Zoë Saldana – will unveil an exclusive creation in honor of Prince Albert of Monaco when he becomes executive pastry chef at the Hôtel de Paris Monte-Carlo.
