The family of the Scottish musician, whose real name is Jack Revill, confirmed he passed away on Saturday morning in Ibiza, Spain, in a poignant Instagram post.
He continued: 'For those of you who never got to see Jack do his thing: Imagine … Simian Mobile Disco being mixed into Missy Elliott into Sister Sledge into Darude into Krystal Klear into Prodigy into Jackson 5 into Wookie into Roger Sanchez into Cassius into whatever else he wanted to … it was seamless and he made it look easy. While deeply touched by the overwhelming support from friends, colleagues, and fans, the family kindly requests privacy as they navigate the immense grief of this devastating loss.'
