New weather maps suggest that snow could fall across large parts of the UK in just over a week, while a yellow weather warning remains in place for wind across the country
These conditions could last until the weekend, with forecasts for Saturday, December 21st showing snowfall across large parts of the country, including an ominous white blob hovering over major cities such as Manchester and Birmingham, and most of Wales. However, Jim Dale, founder and forecaster at British Weather Services, told Express.co.uk that it's still uncertain which parts of the country will see snow over the festive period, if any. The warning affects all 55 cities in England and will remain in place until this evening.Inland gusts of 35-45mph are expected, with coastal areas potentially experiencing winds up to 70mph during the morning, according to the Met Office.
