Exact date temperature set to surge to high 30Cs as drizzle marathon ends and Brits urged to 'bring out the BBQs'


We might have got used to this year's rainy and cold summer weather, but things could be set to change in just a matter of days as temperatures look set to rise

Elsewhere, cities such as Manchester, Birmingham and Liverpool could see temperatures reach between 25°C and 27°C, though coastal areas including Devon and Cornwall may be lower at 17°C to 21°C.
