Exact date 32C heatwave returns to UK as maps turn red

The latest weather maps show that the UK is set to be hit by a 32C heatwave, as summer weather returns – with the southeast of England likely to see the highest temperatures

The southwest, including Plymouth and Exeter, East Anglia, featuring Norwich and Ipswich, and Wales, encompassing Conwy and Cardiff, will experience temperatures between 25C and 28C. This comes after the harsh weather conditions caused by Storm Lilian, which led to widespread disruption across Britain, including cancelled flights and closed roads. Then, get ready for some sunny spells and heavy showers, with those winds picking up a notch in the north and making it feel all fresh.
