Ex-Strictly star Artem Chigvintsev seen in police mugshot after arrest on suspicion of domestic violence
Former Strictly Come Dancing star Artem Chigvintsev’s mugshot has been released after he was arrested and released on suspicion of domestic violence in California
Artem was booked under section 273.5(a) of the California Penal Code which "makes it illegal to injure a spouse, cohabitant or fellow parent in an act of domestic violence". Artem met his now wife, former WWE diva Nikki Garcia, during the American dance show when they were partnered in 2017. The pair were sent home on the seventh night of the competition, and Nikki was still engaged to WWE legend John Cena at the time.
