Maddox, 33, was taken into custody on April 28 by the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office after interacting with an individual claiming to be an underage girl online. Waters said “the objective of this operation was to identify and arrest suspects who solicit children to engage in sexual acts using electronic devices.” Waters revealed that Maddox “traveled with the intent of engaging in sexual activity with a 14-year-old child.” His bond was set at just over $300,000, and his next court date is scheduled for Tuesday, May 28, at Duval County Courthouse.
