Ex-Netflix Exec Heads To The Match Factory As VP Acquisitions
Exec will report to The Match Factory head Michael Weber in Berlin-based that will see him oversee worldwide acquisition strategy.
In that role, he spearheaded the negotiation of a long-term partnership for Constantin’s theatrical releases in German-speaking Europe, co-producing movies, series and documentaries, including Netflix first Swiss production Early Birds. Marc’s talent for connecting creative content with market opportunities, combined with our deep understanding of the international acquisition & co-production landscape, creates a powerful synergy, which makes him a pivotal part of our global growth initiatives.” The appointment comes as The Match Factory gears up for the fall festivals, kicking off with Venice where it will premiere Athina Rachel Tsangari’s Harvest and Türker Süer’s Edge of Night and Sanatorium Under The Sign of the Hourglass by Quay Brothers.
