Ex-ARIA Award winner Darren Hayes takes a cheeky swipe after he wasn't invited to this year's ceremony

Former Savage Garden star Darren Hayes has taken a lighthearted swipe after he wasn't invited to the 2024 ARIA Awards on Wednesday night.

The singer, 52, whose band has won 14 ARIA Awards including 10 for their debut album in 1997, shared a selfie to Instagram alongside a cheeky caption. Speaking with Sarah Grynberg on her A Life of Greatness podcast last week ahead of the release of his memoir Unloveable, Darren said he has suffered a 'huge personal betrayal' as a result of the split. 'It was a huge personal betrayal for me and I speak about it in the book as politely as I possibly can because for the longest time, I just kept expecting him to, one day, just sit down and say the truth.'
