Ewan McGregor reveals 'it means the world' to have Hollywood Walk of Fame star by Star Wars icon Carrie Fisher's plaque


Ewan McGregor has emotionally opened up about having his Hollywood Walk of Fame star next to fellow Star Wars icon Carrie Fisher 's plaque.

McGregor, 53, who has played Jedi Obi-Wan Kenobi for 25 years in films and TV, received his star on Thursday with his children and wife Mary Elizabeth Winstead in attendance. Her television credits included Laverne and Shirley, Sex and the City, 30 Rock, and Family Guy, for which she served as the voice of Angela from 2005-2017. Fisher was on a commercial flight on December 23, 2016, heading back to Los Angeles after working in the UK when she had a medical emergency around 15 minutes before the aircraft landed.
