Filming for the last ever episode of Gavin And Stacey is well underway with the cast seen around the iconic setting of Barry Island in shots taken this week.
The upcoming Christmas Day episode will mark the BBC's sitcom's return for the first time in five years and fans are desperate to know what writers James Corden and Ruth Jones have planned. Dressed in his bike helmet and a black padded jacket, Mathew held his on-screen wife Joanna Page, aka Stacey, close as he recovered from the shock. Arriving in the passenger's seat of Smithy's iconic car, Neil, played by Oscar Hartland, looked worlds away from the young 10-year-old boy who last appeared on the show in 2019.
