Everything We Know About Netflix’s ‘The Thursday Murder Club’ So Far


Richard Osman's 'The Thursday Murder Club' is getting adapted into a film by Steven Spielberg and Netflix. Here's what we know so far.

Based on the novel by Osman, the story traces a group of old friends who solve murders for fun at their retirement home only to find themselves with a real case on their hands. The next round of castings revealed that Jonathan Pryce ( The Two Popes), Henry Lloyd-Hughes ( We Were the Lucky Ones, Killing Eve), Naomi Ackie ( Blink Twice, Whitney Houston: I Wanna Dance With Somebody), Daniel Mays ( Chicken Run: Dawn of the Nugget) and David Tennant ( Doctor Who) would join the film. Last but not least, Tom Ellis ( Lucifer), Ingrid Oliver ( Doctor Who), Sarah Niles ( Ted Lasso), Paul Freeman ( Raiders of the Lost Ark) and Richard E. Grant Withnail & I) boarded the project in July 2024.
