The first film, starring Hathaway, Julie Andrews, Hector Elizondo, Heather Matarazzo, Caroline Goodall, Mandy Moore, Sandra Oh and more in 2001. A sequel, Princess Diaries 2: Royal Engagement, arrived in 2004 with the addition of Chris Pine as Nicholas Devereaux and John Rhys-Davis as Viscount Mabrey. Lim wrote the 2021 animated feature, and she made her directorial debut with Joy Ride(2023) starring Ashley Park, Stephanie Hsu, Sherry Cola and Sabrina Wu.
