Obsessively updating live throughout TV’s second big night of the year.
Following a red carpet, Dan and Eugene Levy will host the 76th Primetime Emmy Awards at 8 p.m. on ABC — and we’ll be obsessively following along the whole time. While several of my colleagues are not fans of his red-carpet look and want to take scissors to the floopy neckline on his custom Loewe, it’s actually very kind of the co-host to offer a shoulder for the losers to cry on. Last weekend’s record-breaking 14-win tally by Shōgun at the Creative Arts Emmys could not be a better indication that hand-wringing about whether the FX series could get clipped at the finish line is not necessary.
