'Ted Lasso,' ‘Succession' and 'The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel' are among many shows whose final season scored 2023 Emmy nominations
Brendan Hunt, who portrayed Coach Beard, told Entertainment Tonight at the 2024 Golden Globes that this year’s awards season marked the “end of the road” for the Ted Lasso team. Other cast members including Nicholas Braun, Matthew Macfadyen, Alan Ruck, Alexander Skarsgård, J. Smith-Cameron, James Cromwell, Arian Moayed, Hiam Abbass, Cherry Jones and Harriet Walter also earned Outstanding Supporting Actor and Actress in a Drama Series and Outstanding Guest Actor and Actress in a Drama series nods. Included in the Apple TV+ sports comedy’s 21 nominations are acting nods for stars Sudeikis, Phil Dunster, Brett Goldstein, Juno Temple and Hannah Waddingham.
