Evan Rachel Wood claims she and Jim Sturgess had been 'actually tripping' on hallucinogenic drugs during I Am the Walrus scene from 2007 Beatles musical Across the Universe
Wood made the reveal in a video message she sent to fans watching the musical at the Hollywood Forever Cemetery in a Cinespia screening.
Wood, who played Lucy in the Julie Taymor-directed motion picture, revealed to fans an Easter egg previously undisclosed about the making of the movie. Evan Rachel Wood, 36, revealed that she and her Across the Universe costar Jim Sturgess were 'actually tripping' on hallucinogenic drugs during the I Am the Walrus scene from 2007 Beatles musical. The movie had a storyline about 'the romance between an upper-class American girl and a poor Liverpudlian artist,' according to the logline, with 'the music of The Beatles and the Vietnam War' in the backdrop.
