It may have been the premiere of Tom Cruise's latest Mission: Impossible film - but it was the ladies who were turning heads on the red carpet at the Cannes Film Festival on Wednesday.
Man of the moment Tom Cruise was joined by his dazzling leading ladies Hayley Atwell, Pom Klementieff and Hannah Waddingham and a host of famous faces on the red carpet. Kristen Stewart (The Chronology of Water), Scarlett Johansson (Eleanor the Great) and Harris Dickinson (Urchin) will all be unveiling their feature directorial debuts in Cannes´ Un Certain Regard sidebar section. It's understood that the iconic venue now adopts a more conservative dress code, with suits, dinner jackets and floor-length evening gowns generally favoured over headline grabbing ensembles.
