The Flamin’ Hot director, 49, has been living between Spain and Mexico with her husband José Bastón and their 6-year-old son Santiago for the last few years now, she shared in a cover story for Marie Claire's “Age Issue.” The Desperate Housewives alum, who was previously deemed a “political power broker” by The Washington Post in 2020, spent the last few months campaigning for Vice President Harris and has been extremely vocal about her opinions of President-elect Trump. Beyond her political activism, Longoria opens up in the cover story about carving her own path in the entertainment industry — including with her Oscar-nominated film Flamin' Hot, which she directed — and in encouraging other women to get behind the camera and assert control over their careers.
