Eurythmics’ music video for their classic 1983 hit, “Sweet Dreams (Are Made of This),” has surpassed one billion YouTube views. The Chris Ashbrook-directed music video begins with member Annie Lennox giving a business meeting to Dave Stewart in a conference room while dressed in a sleek androgynous suit, chanting the instantly-recognizable opening chorus: “Sweet dreams are made of this/ Who am I to disagree?/ I travel the world and the seven seas/ Everybody’s looking for something.” The musical duo then meditate from the conference room and teleport into a colorful dream world.
