Olly Alexander has come close to a 'breakdown' amid fierce pressure on him to quit as this year's UK Eurovision competitor.

Before his appearance at Eurovision Olly will be awarded a coveted Gold Blue Peter badge and read a special CBeebies Bedtime Story it's been announced. Previous awardees include their Majesties The King and Queen, the Prince and Princess of Wales, Sir David Attenborough, Greta Thunberg, Steven Spielberg and Marcus Rashford. Olly receives the award in recognition of his music career, representing his country in the Eurovision Song Contest and inspiring young people across the UK to always be their true selves.
