Eurovision curse strikes Mae Muller as she 'splits from her record label' after being forced to cancel her tour
The singer has reportedly split from her record label less than a year after she represented the United Kingdom at Eurovision last May.
The insider added that Mae 'struggled' to find a solid fanbase despite her mass exposure on the Eurovision Song Contest and even had to cancel her tour but claimed that the singer now feels as if she 'compromised her artistic integrity' for the sake of the label so felt she it was time to leave. She continued: 'The pressure of chasing hits for so long (which many signed artists can relate to) wore me out which caused me to make decisions which didn't sit well in my gut personally or creatively. But the star did add: 'I had the album campaign of dreams, making little to no compromises with a major label, which is so rare in this day and age, and for that I am extremely grateful... but I need to take a little step back.'
