Estelita Huijer: Silverchair frontman Daniel Johns' model ex is accused of stealing thousands of dollars from a restaurateur and damaging his bookshelf
The former partner of rock star Daniel Johns wept unconsolably in court today as she faced charges of stealing thousands of dollars in cash and vandalising a bookshelf.
Waverley Local Court documents show Huijer is charged with property damage and stealing from a home as well as breaching an apprehended domestic violence order imposed for Mr Becher's protection after a separate incident in 2023. A day before her arrest Huijer was seen on social media enjoying a meal at Potts Point seafood restaurant Harry's Singapore Chilli Crab with fellow socialite Imogen Anthony. His ritzy Double Bay restaurant and bar Pelicano was a magnet for celebrities such as Ed Sheeran, Gerard Butler, James Blunt and Mel Gibson but was forced to shut in 2016 because of what Mr Becher described as a 'hostile takeover' from its landlord.
