Escape to the Country's Nicki Chapman shares update after brain tumour 'shock'

Nicki Chapman has opened up about her 'most frightening experience' after being diagnosed with a brain tumour - but has since recovered and penned a memoir

"Receiving that news was, without doubt, the most shocking and frightening experience of my life - even worse than being chased by an elephant on safari with the Spice Girls." Throughout her stellar industry voyage from MCA promotions assistant to head honcho at RCA, Nicki has rubbed shoulders with some serious music royalty, having worked with icons like Take That, the Spice Girls, Annie Lennox, and David Bowie. Iggy Pop and The Stooges were after a Bob Hope lookalike plus seven dwarves decked out in pointy hats, while Prince's rider list boasted a bespoke coffee maker, aromatic tea selections, Vitamin B injections, and an obsession with draping everything in cling film.
