Escape to the Countrypresenter Ginny Buckley was on a mission to find Huw and Ele their dream home in the countryside, on a 2021 episode of the show. Huw and Ele were hoping to swap their current home in Harpenden, Hertfordshire for a new place in High Weald, Kent, with a budget of £600,000. Ele added: "It put a lot of strain on our relationship," and Huw continued: "Quite a few months later when we were getting our lives back on track, our first dog Bree unfortunately just had a seizure out of nowhere.
