Escape To The Country couple find dream home – but then one detail 'ruins everything'
A couple who had everything they could possibly want in a home left Escape to the Country viewers stunned after they ended up settling in a very different property on the BBC show
On Monday, 10 June, episode, Denise Nurse is in Suffolk, helping a couple find a new home in a more rural setting, where they can enjoy retired life together, closer to the coast, lakes or waterways. The couple had a change of heart after appearing on the show (Image: BBC)Looking pleased, she continued: "We go down there regularly and walk through and have a coffee and we enjoy it thoroughly there finding this house it was a done deal really because there was a church where we'd already been to here in previous months, we'd been there once and we thought, yes, we could be happy here, it's a really lively community of people, fun-loving and lots of interesting projects on the go at the moment. Alistair stepped away from the urban area and back out towards the countryside, remarking: "It's good for the soul to see how people have so happily become ensconced in houses that they so clearly love and what's really impressed me is how swiftly our homebuyers have settled themselves into community.
