Eric Idle Rampage: Monty Python Star Takes Shots At John Cleese, Terry Gilliam & Netflix In Twitter Rant
Eric Idle was on the war path on Twitter/X over the weekend, taking shots at Monty Python chums John Cleese, Terry Gilliam, as well as Netflix.
The Monty Python star had some dismissive words for John Cleese and Terry Gilliam, co-founders of the comedy troupe, and he even took a shot at Netflix. Idle, who appeared in The Masked Singer in 2022, also took issue with Netflix after a follower suggested that the streaming giant make a documentary on the rise and fall of Python. Idle co-founded Python in 1969 alongside Graham Chapman, Cleese, Gilliam, Terry Jones, and Michael Palin.
