Eric Dane fights back tears in emotional first interview since ‘crushing’ ALS diagnosis

“I don’t think this is the end of my story. I don’t feel like this is the end of me,” Dane said of his battle with the disease.

“I wake up every day and I’m immediately reminded that this is happening,” the actor said in a teaser clip for his upcoming “Good Morning America” interview, which will air Monday. The “Grey’s Anatomy” alum also shared that he would be returning to his role as Cal Jacobs in “Euphoria” for Season 3 of the HBO series amid his battle with the neurodegenerative disease. HBOGayheart filed to divorce Dane in February 2018 due to irreconcilable differences and requested joint custody of their children Billie, 15, and Georgia, 13.
