Eric Dane Emotionally Unpacks ALS Diagnosis: “It’s Not A Dream”
After revealing his amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) diagnosis, Eric Dane is opening up about his health for the first time.
The Euphoria star got emotional in a preview of an upcoming interview with Diane Sawyer on Monday’s episode of Good Morning America, in which he unpacks life with his ALS diagnosis. The Mayo Clinic describes ALS as “a nervous system disease that affects nerve cells in the brain and spinal cord,” causing a “loss of muscle control. Dane will be joined in Season 3 by newcomers Kadeem Hardison, musican Rosalia, former professional football player Marshawn Lynch, Darrell Britt-Gibson, Priscilla Delgado, James Landry Hébert and Anna Van Patten in notable guest star roles.
